Wednesday, October 11, 2023 was designated as “Texas Education Human Resources Day” in recognition of our human resource professionals across the state. From recruiting, selecting, resourcing, and retaining highly-qualified staff, no one does it better than our very own HR department.

About Us

Established in 1981, Lake Travis ISD is comprised of 11 campuses within a radius of roughly 116 square miles.

Approximately 1,400 men and women serve the district as full time employees, and nearly half of those are teachers (680). Another 250 individuals are employed as substitutes. By far, we are the largest employer in the Lake Travis area. We're happy you're here.
