Approximately 700 Lake Travis ISD employees have received their COVID-19 vaccine, thanks in large part to Edwin Reyes/First Medical Response of Texas (FMROT) and Austin Public Health (APH).

On January 19 and February 25, FMROT representatives provided the two-dose Moderna vaccine to roughly 200 eligible employees. Just before spring break on March 12, FMROT officials administered the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine to nearly 400 staff, and on March 13, representatives with APH provided the Moderna vaccine to approximately 100 employees.
