In honor and recognition of these hard-working professionals and the critical duties they perform, Lake Travis ISD joins the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the American Federation of School Administrators to celebrate April 8-12, 2019 as National Assistant Principals Week.

About Us

Established in 1981, Lake Travis ISD is comprised of 11 campuses within a radius of roughly 116 square miles.

Approximately 1,400 men and women serve the district as full time employees, and nearly half of those are teachers (680). Another 250 individuals are employed as substitutes. By far, we are the largest employer in the Lake Travis area. We're happy you're here.
