District celebrates Texas Education Human Resources Day

From recruiting, selecting, resourcing and retaining highly-qualified staff in support of providing an excellent education for all students, to providing staff with essential wellness services and programs, the staff in our Human Resources Department play a critical role in our district leadership.  In recognition of their efforts and those of their counterparts across the state, Gov. Greg Abbott recently proclaimed October 9, 2019 as Texas Education Human Resources Day.

Human Resources also helps foster satisfaction and loyalty among our employees by allowing for professional growth and development and keeping employees informed about policies, working conditions, compensation, and benefits.  HR staff also monitor and manage current and future workforce trends as well as important changes in labor laws.
