On September 20, three of our colleagues were each bestowed the LT High5 Award presented by All Star Burger for service above self. Honorees received a custom water bottle, a personal invitation to the October 16 school board meeting where they will be recognized by trustees, some well-deserved PR on the district's social media channels, and the always popular gift card to one of the best burger places in town.

"The stories of these amazing colleagues demonstrate a willingness to go beyond the call of duty," said Superintendent Dr. Brad Lancaster.

Recipients of the first round of awards for the 2019-2020 school year include the following:

  • Elijah Kanellakis, Lake Travis ISD Copy Center Operator

  • Sandy Casares, Lake Travis Middle School counselor

  • Donna Richardson, West Cypress Hills Elementary School Administrative Assistant to the Principal
