October is Principals Month

Lake Travis ISD joins Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals in recognizing October 2019 as National Principals Month.

“So much is expected of our school principals,” said LTISD Superintendent Dr. Brad Lancaster.  “They are instructional leaders, assessment experts, disciplinarians, campus safety coordinators, community builders, budget analysts, and guardians of policy mandates and initiatives.  Principals set the academic tone for our schools and work collaboratively with teachers to develop and maintain high curriculum standards and performance goals for all students. Thank you to our outstanding campus leaders who serve more than 11,000 students districtwide.”
